They quickly set out to develop their own purpose-built operating system for global trade, and the growth figures reflect the enormous gap in the market. Scaling from just 5 to 20 in six years and shipping $200 million worth of goods through their platform.

The platform helps importers and exporters to reduce supply chain impacts by comparing rates and sailing times, simplifying complicated shipments as well as giving insight into the carbon impact of their logistics operations.

The impressive growth figures were not unnoticed, in 2022 they picked up $7.5 million in Series A funding from EVP, an early stage venture firm.

This funding funds the opening of four additional offices throughout Australia, with a hiring spree increasing their headcount to 70 by the end of year.

Part of the challenge that came with this is their own comms, just as businesses look to Explorate to modernise their shipping, 23shout is providing its platform to support Explorate's growing team.

By bringing their operations team onto the 23shout platform they were able to reduce wait times and transfers by having customers route directly to their account manager instead of transferring them around the team.
